Why convert here
Nothing is uploaded
Your files are read and converted by your browser, on your device. They are never uploaded, so scans of contracts, medical records or court papers stay private. Once the page has loaded it even works offline.
Every page of multi-page files
A multi-page TIFF becomes one JPG per page, numbered in order, so you don’t lose page 2 and beyond.
Keeps the resolution
The JPG keeps the pixel size and the dpi of the TIFF, so it prints at the same size. Fax pages with non-square pixels are corrected.
Opens difficult files
Group 3 and Group 4 fax, LZW, ZIP (Deflate), JPEG and old-style JPEG, PackBits, 1-bit to 32-bit and floating-point images, palette colors, CMYK, YCbCr, Lab, tiled and BigTIFF files. Both .tif and .tiff.
Free, no sign-up
No account, no watermark and no daily limit.
Questions and answers
How do I convert a multi-page TIFF to JPG?
Drop the file and click Convert to JPG. Every page becomes its own JPG, named with its page number, and they download together in one ZIP file.
Is TIF to JPG the same as TIFF to JPG?
Yes. TIF and TIFF are the same format with two spellings of the file extension. Both convert the same way.
Will my images lose quality?
JPG is a compressed format, so it is always a little lossy. “High” quality is hard to tell apart from the original; “Maximum” is closer still. If you need an exact copy, convert TIFF to PNG instead.
What happens to transparency?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Are CMYK and 16-bit TIFF files supported?
Yes. CMYK images are converted to RGB colors and 16-bit or 32-bit images are reduced to the 8 bits per channel that JPG stores.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The images are converted by your browser on your device and never leave it.
